Speaking of a season three, Patrick Schumacker and Justin Halpern have stated that they want to delve more into Poison Ivy's character and backstory and tell more stories through her point of view. They also mentioned delving into Commissioner Gordon's failing approval rating in Gotham City and him dealing with the realization of how the Gotham City Police Department has failed the city. [26] They have also stated that the third season will be very Harley and Ivy centric, but asserted that they did not want the stakes to be whether or not they will break up, but rather focusing on navigating their new dynamic as a couple [40] and dealing with the change of being in a good relationship after mostly being in toxic ones and how that baggage would affect their current relationship. On March 4, 2021, the "Masters Of None" podcast released an interview with Executive Producer and co-head writer Justin Halpern, in which he revealed some news regarding Season 3. According to Halpern, the season will be released in late 2021 or early 2022 due to how long animation takes to produce. [23] Shumacker has also stated that the season will feature a fair amount of Catwoman and Batman together, but that their relationship will be less than smooth. [16]

In August 2021, Halpern and Shumacker went on the "Lavender You" podcast where they revealed a few new details about season 3 including that they would "push the envelope in terms of sexual situations" and that the very first scene of the season would "turn some heads". [42] Schumacker also revealed that an episode of the season would pay homage to Batman: The Animated Series where the character of Harley Quinn originates from. Controversy [ ]

A controversy arose when Justin Halpern revealed in an interview with Variety that a scene of Batman going down on Catwoman had been axed by DC who claimed that "Heroes don't do that" and that it would hurt their ability to sell toys of the character. [44] This comment blew up on the internet with many fans weighing in on the absurdity of the ban. Even Justice League director Zack Snyder commented on the controversy by posting an image of Batman going down on Catwoman to Twitter with the caption "Canon". [45]

The joke in question appeared in the episode "The 83rd Annual Villy Awards" where the scene of Batman going down on Catwoman was replaced with a foot massage although it still saw the characters in a pretty compromising position with Batman sat on the floor in front of Catwoman, nestled between her legs. Batman asks “Shall I continue…?” as the disinterested Catwoman responds, “It’s not worth it.”, perhaps a reference to the scene that could not be. [46]

2022-2023 Show Season : We are very excited to bring you the 2022-2023 Show schedule. It has been a very. interesting past couple of years that has brought many changes. We look forward to a return to a more normal show season. As the schedule grows and we continue to add more shows, we have realigned the staffing to better serve you. We have done this geographically creating a Midwest region and a National region. For shows in the Midwest (Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and the Dakotas) Dillon Goble will be the regional manager. For the rest of the country, Bill Grove will be the regional manager. This should allow exhibitors to have the same point of contact for the majority of their shows. There are some that will cross over, but for most folks, this will mean you only have one person to have to contact. Dillon and Bill will be onsite managing shows, and Neal Carnaby will be managing shows onsite across both regions. Dave Swanson is the owner, and will be at a few of the shows.

World’s Greatest Hobby on Tour update and changes: We are thrilled to announce the return of the World’s Greatest Hobby on Tour in 2023. As we ease back into things, we will have two WGH events, Puyallup, WA in January and Cost Mesa, CA in February. The WGH events will be run in conjunction with existing Great Train Show Events. The Manufacture portion of the show will be placed at the front entrance, but will not be separate from the rest of the event.

Space at the WGH events will now be offered in two ways: 1) Manufactures and those who wish to have traditional WGH space will be able to order space, and will be located at the front of the hall. The WGH manufacture packet and pricing will be out by the end of July. 2) For exhibitors who wish to sell at the show, and do not want to pay the traditional WGH pricing, can simply order standard Great Train Show space, and can use this form to do so.

‍ Covid-19 Policy: At present there are no restrictions for any of our shows. Unless mandated by government authorities or venue regulations, we will not have any mask, vaccination, or social distancing restrictions. Our intention is to provide a safe and enjoyable show. We will follow all Federal, State and Local health department regulations and requirements. Since these are rapidly changing, we will comply with whatever is the current government regulation is in place at the time for the specific venue. Because of the speed of change we may not be able to provide advance notice of these regulations.

Following the success of the 2021 show when we had a record attendance, plans are now at an advanced stage for the 2022 show.
